My wife and I spent a two-week vacation in St. Lucia. Seven of those days we stayed at Castles In Paradise. We had a very nice apartment with a spacious bedroom, a large living room with a kitchen, and a nice bathroom. The hotel pool was large, clean, and pleasant.
The view from our porch was magnificent: Green mountains leading down to the Atlantic Ocean.
The staff is friendly, and if you need a place to stay near Vieux Fort, this is great choice.

The nicest villa I’ve ever had in my 50 years on this planet. We had villa 7. 3 bedrooms, a moon shaped pool, a wonderful fruit basket, and incredible views to go with privacy, security, daily housekeeping, and close proximity to the airport. You will never do better for your money.
You will absolutely need a car out here, as cabs are very expensive. That being said, driving out here is down right scary. You need to get used to the left side of the road, and the steering wheel on the right side. The roads are narrow and often very steep. Forget about driving at night, unless you have unlimited cojones. There are many places on the island to eat that are good, but many are to the north. The Black Bird is close, and is excellent.
If I ever do return to St. Lucia, I will be staying in villa 7, here, once again. You only live once, and this is well worth the cost (and is still very reasonable). There are several nearby grocery stores which will certainly come in handy. If you are aching for American fare, there’s a KFC and Domino’s nearby open late. But you can certainly do better than that. Eat local. You’ll be glad you did.
The villa is super clean, with 4 bathrooms, 3 baths. If you have little ones running around, you won’t hear a thing as the floors are solid concrete. The kitchen is full size, complete with everything you are used to. There is a laundry room as well IN this villa. The pool area has a large deck suitable for a large family. The pool depth ranges from 5-7′. I have nothing but the highest praise for Castles In Paradise. Come, try and get villa 7, and you will be absolutely pleased. There is one other villa with a private pool, as well.

I stayed at the Castles for 4 nights. My villa was steps away from the pool The customer service was excellent and attentive to all of my needs. The grounds were lovely and well maintained. The villa I stayed in offered the most beautiful views of the sea, land and mountains. The owners provided lots of recommendations of places to go and explore. Great place to go and decompress, de-stress and unwind. Highly recommended.

What can we say, an absolute dream.
After being let down by the quality of our hotel in Rodney Bay we were hoping to find somewhere special and my goodness we found it.
Bonnie (owner) we cannot thank you enough! Bonnie was amazing, each time we saw her she wanted to make sure we were happy and had what we needed, she even went as far as to invite us to her own personal house (which was amazing by the way) this place has to be seen to be believed, private entrance and electric gates made us feel super safe with our children, the villa was very spacious, clean, comfortable and picturesque with air conditioning in each room to. Quiet and peaceful at night.
The pool was beautiful and kept clean daily, the gardens and features were all amazing too and kept in great condition.
The views across the bay out to sea are breathtaking.
As a family of 4 we couldn’t recommend this place enough, it’s a 5min Taxi to the beach (Sandy Beach it’s called, go to the REEF Cafe/restaurant there it’s amazing also)
Couldn’t have been better.

This place is amazing in so many ways and I’d like to start with Bonnie, the owner. She does everything that is necessary to make sure you have a good stay here. Her workers are awesome and they strive to do the same. I met Maria, our condo house keeper. She is very kind and she kept our place tidy while we are away. She always try to make sure our rooms are clean as well. No better feeling than coming back to a nice clean room and washed dishes!
We stayed in Castles at Vieux Fort mid march and had a fab time! The villa we had was exceptionally well maintained and huge – it easily could have catered for 6 rather than just the 2 of us! The complex was really pleasant, tucked away and provided a great platform for a St Lucian adventure. Bonnie was also really helpful and provided some great tips and advice of where to go and what to see etc. Hiring a car is essential for those wishing to see St Lucia as Vieux Fort is about 10 minute drive away from Castles. For those wishing to have a St Lucian adventure like us, I would advise hiring a jeep as some of the roads are particularly precarious, albeit with stunning views! We toured the entire island within a week with our highlights being the snorkelling at Anse Chastanet, Sun down at La Dera, Marigot Bay (rainforest restaurant), Pigeon Island, the drive through volcano, Sugar Beach and a Rainforest adventure which included an impromptu beer with some locals in a side of the road bar! Overall, we had an amazing time and would totally recommend Castles in Paradise – thank you Bonnie and team

My family and I had a fabulous time at Castles in Paradise! It was wonderful to discover this delightful oasis of tranquility and beauty so near the international airport. We have been to St. Lucia many, many times through the years and stayed many places throughout the entire Island , but this one was our favorite by far. You are away from the other busy tourist areas in a lovely very private, well appointed villa. Our villa had a great view and our own pool. You can imaging for a family get away with kids this setup would be hard to beat. Bonnie the owner and all her stay were incredibly helpful ! For instance they went out of their way to accommodate every request, even willing to let my wife a realtor in Florida use their office computer to do so emergency business that came up.

We were very satisfied and liked the fact that location was private and quiet (understand that this is not for everyone but perfect for us). We like doing our own cooking and having a quiet place to retire after daytime excursions. The views were very nice. Having the rooftop accessibility is a nice plus. You have the best view of the stars from there! The 2 bedroom villa would have easily accommodated 4 people and was very roomy for my husband and myself. Had all modern conveniences and the grounds are very prettily landscaped. Bonnie is very sweet and concerned about meeting all our needs. We appreciated her loaning her own coffee maker to us for our entire stay. If we go back to St. Lucia, this would be the place we would stay.

”Beautiful grounds. Lovely swimming pool. Spacious villas with wonderful views. Bonnie and her staff are friendly and helpful. Patrick was an excellent find – he was recommended by the property as a driver, and we hired him almost every day either to take us out to a restaurant or beach, or on a full day tour – one day to Castries and another to Soufriere. There is no beach within walking distance, nor is there a nearby restaurant or grocery store. Apparently the resort next door, which was closed for pool upgrades, has a restaurant that is open to the public, but we’re not sure what it would be like. Anyway, Patrick took us to where we needed to go, for a reasonable fee. It is a very quiet place, away from the hustle and bustle of tourist areas. We enjoyed ourselves, as we were not looking for nightlife. However, be aware that you will either need or car, or Patrick!

”A fabulous stay at Castles in Paradise where Alina and Bonnie made us feel more than welcome and were happy to help with anything we needed. Spacious apartment and balcony that offered beautiful views of Savennes Bay. The pool and surrounding gardens were maintained very well and provided an extremely relaxing stay. We felt safe with 24/7 security on hand and were able to come and go as we pleased. Would recommend getting a hire car for your stay as this will allow more freedom to explore the Pitons and sites at Souffries (just under an hour drive away). Accommodation and pool were fantastic but Bonnie (the owner) being so personable and offering suggestions of sites to visit made the visit unforgettable.

”We spent a very relaxing 9 days here. The views were spectacular overlooking the sea. The terrace was shaded for most of the day with the pool area being really sunny. The bedrooms all had doors onto the terrace. Definitely worth getting up for sunrise. The house was cleaned Monday to Friday.
Bonnie was a great host and couldn’t do enough for us. She had organised basic groceries for our first day and also supplied tum punch and beer. She organised a trip to the north of the island for us.
The beach was less than 20 minutes away and they were virtually empty. You need a car but book early to get something a little better as we had the basic car and although we managed ok, some of the roads are a bit bumpy and the island is mountainous.
I really feel that Bonnie has got a great place that enables you to see the real St Lucia away from the big hotels and cruise drop off in the north. Would definitely recommend.

”Villa 3 is a dream! The view is amazing and the location is nice, breezy and quiet. The pool is very close to the villa and was empty for most of our stay so it felt like a private pool. Bonnie and her staff were very communicative and even brought us complimentary coffee and a bottle of wine! We will definitely return in the future.

”The house was exactly as we expected. Our family of 4 had a great vacation. We enjoyed the pool in the evenings too. House was clean and had maid service daily.House is close to the airport and to Sandy beach, but it is a good drive from everywhere else. We enjoyed eating out in the local restaurants and being closer to the St Lucia life in the South side of the island.

”Stunning views. Amazing pool area with multiple loungers. Well accommodated. Party of 6, 3 couples. Queen beds for all, each with private bathrooms and an extra shared toilet room too. Fully stocked kitchen. Rum punch welcome much appreciated. Bonnie, Giselle and team were incredibly welcoming and on spot when we needed anything. Castles is removed from busy side of island in quiet, gated neighborhood. Several nearby local eateries with local cuisine offerings and so much fresh fish everywhere. Beautiful beaches just a short drive away with island grills, drinks and chair rentals available. So beautiful. So yummy. So perfect for a GREAT getaway. 5/5 stars!
